Lobster Me Las Vegas

What do gondolas and lobster rolls have in common? Both are found in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort and Casino, home of Lobster Me. And though you will find lobster rolls on the menu, that’s not all they are serving up to hungry tourists (and locals). So, if you’re heading down to play some casino games, or even just fancy some lobster rolls, this is the place to be! If you have not been to Las Vegas before and played in their casino, you’ll be met with some classic games that will get you into the fun of the whole place. If however, you are looking for something new to play, you may want to go onto websites such as Ninja Monster to see how the adaptation of a film into a casino game may make its way into casinos real and online in the near future.

I stopped by to check out some of their menu items, and share them with Girls on Food readers! (Such a sacrifice, I know!!) I did have a mooch in the casino too but when I was waiting for my food, I jumped onto judi bola and got my casino fix remotely. It was amazing having that casino experience without having to sit one one of those sticky game machines or have to deal with the crowds and loud noises. Although there are some key differences between traditional and online gambling, which you can read about at https://www.codewithmike.com/traditional-gambling-vs-online-what-you-need-to-consider/, it definitely was fun to play. The best part was I didn’t even have to leave my seat and I could still play some classic casino games! Pretty cool, right?!

First to come out: Lobster Me’s Maine Style Lobster Roll, loaded with big, sweet, tender chunks of Maine lobster, lightly tossed with a celery mayo. I’ll admit that I was a wee bit nervous about accepting this assignment because lobster is not my favorite thing, but this roll was delicious, and after trying it, I was ready to keep on sampling!

Next up was the Baked Crab Roll–a mixture of crab, shallot, celery, bread crumbs, and bay seasonings. It had a light texture and a great freshness about it. Lobster Me Las Vegas

And last but not least for their roll selections – the Cajun Style Shrimp Roll. This one is LOADED with shrimp, and tossed with mayo, Cajun seasonings, and green onions.

But what if you are looking for something more decadent? What could be more decadent than a buttery roll filled with lobster you ask? Well friends, how about some macaroni with Lobster Me’s house-made cheese sauce, crunchy onion breadcrumbs, chives, and of course – LOBSTER! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was AWESOME! The sweetness of the lobster with the cheesy sauce was to-die-for. They aren’t “shellfish” with the lobster either! (See what I did there?)

The last item I tried was the Knuckle Sandwich. From a food standpoint, it doesn’t get much more sinful than this. Thick slices of buttered Texas toast, mozzarella cheese, lobster AND crab, chives, tomatoes and bacon…because why not? Then, just to send it over the top? They serve this mouthwatering masterpiece with a container of the same cheese sauce base they use for their mac and cheese…just in case you fee inclined to pour it all over the sandwich, or straight into your mouth. These were just a few selections from Lobster Me’s menu. There was so much more to try, like their loaded Chowder Fries, and the Lobsicle – a battered deep fried lobster tail on a stick. When you’ve finished your meal, you can do some shopping, take in some performance art at The Venetian’s St. Mark’s Square, and even catch a gondola ride!

A big thank you to Lobster Me for the opportunity to share their delicious menu items with Girls on Food. Be sure to check them out on your next trip to Las Vegas!

I started cooking and baking at 4 years old, when I smashed an egg on the floor, while my mom and grandmother were making a cake, and gleefully declared I was helping. I spent the first 3 decades of my life in the sleepy mountains of West Virginia, before heading west to the desert, and the neon lights of Las Vegas. Growing up in a rural area, about 3 hours south of Pittsburgh, I appreciate the simple things – like a plump heirloom tomato, straight from the garden. Moving to a cultural food mecca has expanded my culinary horizons, introducing me to flavor profiles from around the world...and to the joys of being able to have a Bloody Mary before 1 pm on a Sunday. I love to travel, and try locally-owned restaurants wherever I go. I have a soft spot for tacos, sour ales, kombucha, and macarons. Keep up with my foodie-ventures on instagram, @HungryInVegas!
