The Kitchen Table: Sacramento’s New Specialty Kitchen Boutique

?>

I love the hustle and bustle that this time of year brings. I love the joy I feel when shopping for others. It’s fun to look for that perfect gift that will put a smile on your loved ones faces. Since I am a Girl on Food, it’s probably not a big surprise that I have quite a few foodie friends that I need to find the perfect gift for. Which means I am always on the hunt for that cute gadget or yummy locally sourced treat. So when I heard there was a specialty kitchen boutique opening up in East Sacramento I got really excited.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

The Kitchen Table
1462 33rd Street, Sacramento, CA 95816

This place does not disappoint. The decor is retro with a touch of modern. It has a welcome home feel, with its picnic style table and cute vintage stove and refrigerator. I happily went from shelf to shelf looking at all the goodies. I wanted one of everything for myself!

The owner Susan is inviting and you can tell how passionate she is. She gushed over her love for entertaining and all things food related with me. You can see the passion carry over into the thoughtfully handpicked specially curated cookware, tableware, bakeware and locally sourced goods she has in her shop. Like I said I wanted one of everything. I especially loved the cute retro glasses and mugs below.

I thought this functional yet decorative jar of matches would be a nice gift or these cool Sacramento cocktail glasses.

And who wouldn’t love one of these adorable bread boxes or these colorful positive vibe dish towels.

Can we just take a moment for the cuteness that is this little honey set? Not to mention how delicious that shelf of locally sourced honey looks.

Those are just a few of my favorite things. There is so much more! So head over to The Kitchen Table and get your gift giving on.

Don’t forget to share what goodies you got with us on Instagram and The Kitchen Table’s Instagram and stay tuned for cooking demos and the kids cooking club coming in 2018 at The Kitchen Table

Happy Holidays-

Summer

Summer

I am an actress, writer, comedian (I use that term very loosely) who is used to spending my nights after a show at the local pub or dive bar. My love for anything nacho and pizza related was apparent to everyone, including my waistline. As an actress your image is important, it is after all part of the job. realizing that my love affair with all the foods needed to come to an end I decided to try and cook my favorites but in a healthier more waistline friendly way. That is when I discovered my new passion, cooking. I have been creating concoctions in my kitchen for over a year now and I have lost 45lbs. I am a happier, healthier version of myself. I still go out after my shows but now with all of my new food knowledge I know how to order. I still catch a glimpse here and there of my forbidden nacho, pizza love, I smile and think fondly of the time we spent together. I can’t wait to share with you my healthy takes on the not so healthy!

I saw a posting of a coffee mug that said something about not being bothered in the morning before or some such. Was that posting something you sell?
